Welcome to this site of Indian Association of Social Science Institutions.The Association is a collective body of organisations which are involved in teaching, research and related activities in the area of social sciences.Most Indian Universities and research institutions are members of this Association.

The Association was formed primarily for bringing these organisations together in meaningful dialogue s,exchange and cooperation so as to crystallize ideas useful for evolving solutions to problems of social concern. All its activities like organisation of seminars and conferences, production of a multi disciplinary journal and publications   have been directed to this end.
